A little background about us: we are Duke Energy Progress - Raleigh Operations Center.

We are linemen, designers, engineers, and all the support staff that work to design,
construct, and maintain the Duke Energy electrical distribution system in Raleigh.
We are also hunters, fisherman, and outdoorsmen (and women).

In August, we lost a fellow lineman, due to a tragic workplace accident in Charlotte.
Zach Jones was like so many of the workers in our own operation center: he was a Marine,
a loving Uncle, and an avid hunter.

We chose to donate these funds to your local chapter, in his honor, as it is apparent that you all have the best
opportunity to ensure that Zach’s passion of turkey hunting, enjoyment of the outdoors,
and that having a benevolent heart carries on in Eastern North Carolina.

Thank you for your continued stewardship of the sport and serving your community. Please share this message, and Zach’s passionate story with your members, as appropriate.
